Producer Information
Cornerstone Cellars is a boutique winery located in Napa Valley in the sub-region of Yountville. The brand was founded in 1991 by two Memphis-based physicians, Mike Dragutsky and David Sloas. Cornerstone produces a range of wines from prestigious appellations within the Napa Valley, with a particular focus on Cabernet Sauvignon. The company’s initial vintage was made with a surplus of Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon from Dunn Vineyards. The wines were well received by critics and collectors, so Dragutsky and Sloas decided to continue commercial wine production. Today, the estate produces Cabernet Sauvignon wines with fruit from the same Howell Mountain vineyard, as well as from prestigious Napa Valley sub-regions including Oakville and Rutherford.
