Producer Information
Purchased in 1971 by Christian Moueix even if the history of the estate begins in the mid-1800s with the Trigan de Boisse family. For historical continuity, the name of the original family still appears on the label. Even the name of the estate has varied several times from La Grave to La Grave in Pomerol. Château La Grave has 8 hectares of land located on the western slope of the Pomerol plateau. The name derives from the calcareous soils that characterized the property. in fact originally La Grave had all calcareous soils which, in the 80s were partially exchanged for some sandy parcels of Château La Fleur Petrus, also owned by the Moueix family.
